Natural Care for Beautiful Breasts

Every day we hear about new wonder skin care formulas claiming to make us look great. That means to me that whatever we already have in our bathroom cabinets is not working. I quit using all over the counter cosmetics 2 1/2 years ago and I couldn’t be happier with the results (see Beauty category)

I have found the following preparations in Melanie Sachs’ book Ayurvedic Beauty Care: Ageless Techniques to Invoke Natural Beauty

#1 Pomegranate Toner:
1   part powdered pomegranate rind
4   parts mustard oil
16 parts water

#2 Shatavari Ghee:
1  part Shatavari powder
4  parts Ghee
16 parts water
Shatavari is an Indian herb which is considered to be the most helpful herb for women. It helps balance the female hormonal system and nourishes and cleanses the blood and the female reproductive organs.
Ghee – clarified butter – has many uses in Ayurveda (See Ghee for recipe and application). In skin care formulas, it strengthens the skin and builds muscles.

How to make:
Mix together the ingredients and bring the mixture to a boil. Gently simmer until water is evaporated.

How to use:
Cool and massage breasts with one of these natural formulas each evening.

TODAY’S TIP: Massaging in one of these medicated oils will help you get a firm youthful quality to your breasts. It is a first step, but it takes several steps more to get lasting results. External skin care is not enough to achieve permanent improvements, for it does not change the reason for skin problems. Living a healthy life style, going to bed early and getting up early, eating well, meditating, doing breathing exercises, and yoga postures regularly produce a much more enduring effect than external remedies alone.
