How to Stay Adequate when Everything is Inadequate
How to Stay Adequate when Everything is Inadequate
The influence of society is very strong, in recent months a lot has been written about the pandemic, vaccinations and universal evil. Through visible images, the media are modeling our future with news such as: thousands of new cases of coronavirus are detected every day, thousands more deaths are expected, etc.
Consciously or not, we fall under the influence of these currents. At the beginning of the last century, the Russian academician Vernadsky described the concept of the noosphere and the telepathic properties of a person, thanks to which a person interacts with the noosphere. The noosphere is the sphere of interaction between society and nature. Within this area, the intelligent activity of a person determines its development. One of the conditions for the development of the noosphere is “a sharp transformation of the means of communication and cooperation between different countries.”
Another prerequisite is the end of wars.
Do we meet these criteria? Obviously not.
Wars in the last century and now are a constant process, and the means of communication have turned from a tool for transmitting information into a tool for manipulation.
Humanity is disoriented. No matter how optimistic we are, if the atmosphere is filled with fear, then anxiety and forced thinking fill the person.
The way our psyche perceives what is happening and what commands it gives to the brain can kill or heal, depending on what kind of picture of the world a person has. What I listen to with faith and what penetrates into my heart determines the further course of events that happen to me.
We need courage not to take everything at face value, but to verify the information that has entered our lives. To do this, we use personal practice, turning it into knowledge or rejecting it. Only information that responded to us, to which we attached importance, which turned into personal experience, can miraculously change our life for the good or for the bad.
Blind acceptance and testing by personal experience are two ways of knowing the world, illustrating two approaches: Western and Eastern, rational and irrational.
Both methods have their advantages and disadvantages.
The rational misses the opportunity to see the “miracle” because miracles are inexplicable.
The Eastern method involves full adherence to the instructions of the teacher, which can lead to fanaticism.
The best way to deal with this is to combine the old with the new, throw away anything that doesn’t work. We must add whatever resonates in our hearts, rationalize it, reveal the meanings and include it in our personal practice. The collective consciousness of the planet can be changed when the individual consciousness changes.
How to protect ourselves from attacks of aggressive news, mostly negative and destructive? Very often we can find opposite statements, both supported by “arguments”, which can be confusing.
In this state of insecurity, we will spend more and more time on the Internet to find the truth. However, the truth is within us.
Here’s some practical advice on how to get rid of dependence on external sources.
If you find yourself spending more and more time watching the news, you need to understand that you are looking for more security from the outside. Instead, we need to rely on our own inner source.
To do this, make a list of the things you have, the things you can trust, the things that support you.
For instance:
1. My education
2. My friends
3. Good qualities of my character: kindness, confidence
4. Faith in God
5. My savings
6. My family
This is just an example, you can write anything, both tangible and intangible, what you feel connected with.
You can re-read or expand your list as many times as you like. Every time you remember things that exist in reality, and not in the virtual world, you will feel more and more power inside yourself.
TODAY’S TIP: Another thing you can do to feel confident and courageous is to help someone else: people, animals, or the whole world. The choice is yours.
