All You Need is Love
All You Need is Love
Ayurveda doesn’t consider a person to be healthy if he or she isn’t happy. Happiness is at least as important as the proper functioning of the body.
We are trained to be callous and unfeeling in order to succeed in life. Love, sentiments, and feelings are blocked and rejected, so is the inner well-being. We cut ourselves from our bodies and feelings, living in an inner emotional wasteland.
There is only one reason why some people “put down” others – their lack of love and the desire to receive love. If someone insults you or makes you feel badly, that’s because they feel unloved and are unable to give love – they are in pain. This is the root cause of fighting, of conflict, of emotional pain. Notice when you strike out at another how you feel. Are you feeling loved? Are you happy? If the answer was yes, you would not attack or make hurtful comments about others.
TODAY’S TIP: Just remember it next time you feel hurt or when you are about to gain a brief moment of feeling superior by putting down someone else.
